Dermal Filler
Hyaluronic Acid is a gooey, slippery substance that is naturally found throughout the body, especially in the skin, eyes, and joints. As it is very good at retaining water, it is responsible for keeping the eyes hydrated, ensures that joints are moving smoothly, and that the skin is flexible. In aesthetics, we use this substance in the form of hyaluronic acid dermal filler as tool to hydrate and plump the skin, fill wrinkles, restore lost volume, and even make structural modifications. At Velvet Skin and Wellness we carry a large variety of premium HA dermal fillers each with their own unique consistencies and structural components, indicated to be used to treat different areas in order to address a variety of goals.
Botulinum Toxin
The botulinum toxin, most commonly known as BOTOX is a neuromodulator most commonly used to limit muscle activity of specific areas of the face for wrinkle prevention or wrinkle reduction. Beyond its aesthetic uses, the botulinum toxin can also be used to treat chronic migraines, TMJ disorders, as well as over active trapezius muscles (aka Traptox), and more. At Velvet Skin and Wellness we use premium botulinum toxins on the market such as the well known Botox as well as Dysport. Both products have their loyal fans, and patients cant go wrong by choosing either of these premium products. While the active ingredient in both of these neuromodulators is the same, there are a few key differences. One notable difference is that Botox takes up to 2 weeks for the effects to fully settle in. On the other hand, patients have reported that effects of Dysport are noticeable as early as two to four days.
Velvet Skin Facial

The Velvet Skin Facial is a treatment designed to rejuvenate the skin in order to achieve the coveted "glass skin" look. The process begins by numbing the skin with a numbing cream. This step will ensure the most comfortable treatment in the step moving forward. Once the numbing effect is in place, our master injector will formulate a customized cocktail of ingredients that may include the following: Hyaluronic Acid, Botox, Retinol, PRP, etc. The ingredients and quantities will be tailored to address each patients skin concerns and lifestyles. Our master injector will then use the Aquagold Micro-channel 24k gold needle device to deliver the products directly into the skin via micro injections. Each needle is thinner than a human hair, therefore patients can expect a comfortable treatment, with minimal downtime.
PRP Hair Restoration
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a cutting-edge treatment that harnesses the healing power of ones own blood's platelets and plasma. These growth factor-packed components are known for their ability to trigger cell reproduction and promote tissue regeneration throughout the body.
In the PRP hair restoration process, a small blood sample is taken from the patient and spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets within the plasma. The resulting PRP solution is then skillfully injected into the target area, stimulating hair follicles and promoting hair growth.
While the exact mechanisms behind PRP injections are not fully understood, studies have shown their potential to shorten healing time, reduce pain, and encourage hair growth.
Sculptra

Microneedling
Micro-needling is a process by which a surgical grade device with needles is used to create micro injuries to the skin, resulting in collagen stimulation and cell turnover. This treatment is used to address skin texture issues such as acne scarring, wrinkling, and over all skin rejuvenation. The treatment process will begin by first numbing the area that is to be treated to ensure a comfortable process throughout.Micro-needling can be done on its own or paired with platelet rich plasma (PRP) in order to further accelerate cell turnover and healing using the natural healing properties of ones own blood cells.
Kybella
The active ingredient in Kybella is Deoxycholic Acid
This is a naturally occurring molecule aiding fat breakdown and absorption.
Kybella is administered via injection into subcutaneous fat to target and destroy fat cells resulting in a noticeable reduction of fat after treatment.
After this treatment, the destroyed cells can no longer store or accumulate. During treatment, multiple small injections are administered. The injection process takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes, and the number of injections is determined by each individuals unique fat amount and desired profile
