Injectable Treatments

Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers

  • These are injectable gels made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that adds volume, smooths wrinkles, and enhances facial contours.

  • Typically, they last between 6 and 18 months, depending on the product used and the treated area.

  • Filler migration occurs when dermal filler moves from the original injection site to a different area, creating an undesired look or asymmetry.

  • Signs of filler migration include lumps, bumps, uneven swelling, or filler appearing in unintended areas like above the lips or below the eyes, away from the injection site.

  • Yes, in most cases, migrated filler can be corrected. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase, a substance that breaks down the filler.

Plasma Gel PRP Fillers

  • Plasma gel PRP fillers use your own blood plasma to stimulate collagen and add volume to facial areas, offering a natural alternative to traditional fillers, and have an added benefit of stimulating your own collagen production

  • Results can last between 6-12 months, depending on individual response, and metabolism.

Filler Dissolving (Hyaluronidase)

  • Filler dissolving with Hyaluronidase is a treatment used to break down and dissolve hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers. Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that works by breaking down the HA in the filler into simple sugars, which are then naturally metabolized by the body. It’s commonly used to correct filler migration, asymmetry, or simply to remove filler and start fresh.

  • Yes, Hyaluronidase can break down some of your body’s natural hyaluronic acid, but this is not something to be concerned about. Your body naturally replenishes its own HA over time. If needed, you can always have new HA filler injections to restore any lost volume and achieve your desired look again.

  • Filler dissolving is most commonly performed when someone wants to correct filler-related issues such as asymmetry or migration. It’s also electively done for individuals who want to start fresh and refine their results, especially after experiencing filler migration or dissatisfaction with previous filler treatments.

  • Most people see results from Hyaluronidase within 24-48 hours after treatment. In some cases, multiple treatments may be necessary if a large amount of filler needs to be dissolved, and depending on what HA product was previously used, as certain fillers are highly cross linked (ex:Juvederm Ultra), making them more difficult to dissolve in one session

Sculptra

  • Sculptra is an injectable treatment that stimulates collagen production, restoring lost volume, improving skin quality, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

  • A series of 2-3 treatments over several months is typically recommended for optimal results.

  • Sculptra is used to enhance the volume and shape of the buttocks by stimulating collagen production, offering a non-surgical alternative to traditional butt lifts.

  • Results can last up to 2-3 years with proper maintenance.

  • The amount of Sculptra needed varies based on individual goals, body type, and desired results. Typically, patients require between 8-12 vials per session, depending on the extent of volume and lift desired. Most patients need 2-4 treatment sessions, spaced about 4-6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results

Kybella

  • Kybella is a fat-dissolving injection used to target and permanently destroy fat cells. This treatment can be done under the chin or on the body for arm fat, bra fat, neck hump fat, love handles, abdomen, or anywhere with excess stubborn fat.

  • Most people require 2-4 treatments spaced a few months apart to see significant results.

  • Vials used depend on each area. For the chin, for one session, we typically use 2 vials, and more product is required for the body or larger areas. For example for the under arm bra fat, we typically use 2-2.5 vials on each side

Neuromodulators

  • Neuromodulators are injectable treatments that work by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for creating fine lines and wrinkles. By preventing muscle contractions, they smooth out the skin, reducing the appearance of expression lines such as crow's feet, forehead wrinkles, and frown lines. Neuromodulators are also used for various therapeutic purposes, such as treating migraines, excessive sweating, TMJ jaw tension by treating the masseter muscle, and poor posture by treating the trapezius muscles.

  • No, BOTOX is simply the most well-known brand of neuromodulators, but it’s not the only option on the market. Other neuromodulators include Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau, which offer similar results. Each product has slightly different characteristics, such as onset time and spread, so the best option for you will depend on your specific needs and goals. BOTOX is popular because it was the first neuromodulator approved for cosmetic use, but it’s not necessarily the best choice for everyone.

  • Neuromodulators will freeze your face
Neuromodulators don’t have to make you look "frozen." When administered properly by an experienced provider, the results are subtle and natural, allowing you to maintain normal facial expressions while minimizing unwanted lines.

Neuromodulators are only for older people.
While neuromodulators are commonly used to reduce existing wrinkles, they are also great as a preventative treatment. Younger individuals often use them to prevent deep lines from forming by relaxing the muscles responsible for creating wrinkles over time.

    Neuromodulators are dangerous.
When administered by a trained professional, neuromodulators are safe and effective. They have been widely studied and used for many years, both in cosmetic and medical settings. Side effects are minimal and usually temporary, such as slight bruising or swelling at the injection site.

  • Neuromodulators and dermal fillers serve different purposes. Neuromodulators relax muscles to smooth out dynamic wrinkles (those caused by muscle movements), such as crow’s feet and frown lines. Dermal fillers, on the other hand, are used to add volume, fill in static wrinkles (those present without facial movement), and enhance areas like the lips or cheeks. Both treatments can be combined for comprehensive facial rejuvenation.

Xeomin

  • Xeomin is a neuromodulator similar to Botox but without additional proteins, reducing the risk of resistance. Therefore those who suspect that they have immune resistance to Botox, might benefit from trying Xeomin. Using Xeomin might also reduce the chance of becoming immune resistance.  The aesthetic outcome is the same as Botox

  • Results can be seen in 5-7 days, with the full effect appearing within two weeks.

Botox

  • Botox is a well known neuromodulator brand that is used to relax muscles and reduce wrinkles, particularly in the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes. It's the most commonly used brand.

  • Results last around 3 months  depending on the individual. It's important to note that recent patient complaints have reported that Botox does not last as long as the other neuromodulators on the market.

Dysport

  • Dysport has a smaller molecule size, leading to faster results—often within 7 days—and some users find it lasts longer than Botox.

  • Dysport results typically last around 3-5 months.

Advanced Skin Treatments

Microneedling (with SkinPen)

  • Microneedling uses tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen production and improving skin texture and tone.

  • Most people require 3-6 sessions spaced a few weeks apart for optimal results, and maintenance treatment 1-2 times a year

Microneedling (with PRP)

  • This treatment combines microneedling with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) to enhance collagen production and rejuvenate the skin.

  • Microneedling with PRP accelerates the skin’s natural healing process, promotes faster collagen production, and enhances the overall results compared to microneedling alone. PRP contains growth factors that boost cell turnover, reduce inflammation, and improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity. It also helps minimize downtime and speeds up recovery.

Chemical Peel (TCA Cross)

  • TCA Cross is a specialized chemical peel that uses Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) to treat specific areas of the skin, particularly focusing on deep acne scars. It targets individual scarred areas by applying a high concentration of TCA directly into the scar, stimulating collagen production and improving the texture and appearance of the skin over time.

  • Most patients require 2-4 sessions spaced about 4-6 weeks apart, depending on the severity of the scars and individual skin response. Your provider will recommend the best treatment plan based on your specific needs.

  • After the treatment, you can expect some redness, peeling, and scabbing in the treated areas for 5-7 days. The peeling process is part of the skin's natural healing, and as new skin forms, the appearance of the scars improves. It’s important to avoid sun exposure during the healing period and follow post-treatment care instructions for optimal recovery.

  • You will begin to see noticeable improvement after each treatment as the skin heals and collagen builds. Full results are typically visible after completing the recommended series of treatments, with significant changes seen within 3-6 months.

Botox Microinjection Facial (Glass Skin Facial)

  • The Glass Skin Facial uses ultra-fine 24k gold microinjections to deliver a superficial layer of customized serum, usually including Botox & Filler just beneath the skin’s surface. This treatment is perfect for refining skin texture, reducing pore size, controlling oil production, and providing a smooth, flawless canvas for makeup application, especially before an event.

  • It’s recommended to schedule the Velvet Skin Botox Microinjection Facial about 1 week before your event to allow for optimal results and ensure your skin is perfectly prepped for makeup.

  • There is very minimal downtime. Some redness may occur immediately after the treatment, but this typically subsides within 4 hours. Makeup can be safely applied the following day.

  • Results begin to show within a few days, with the best results visible around 1 week after the treatment. Your skin will appear smoother, more refined, and ready for flawless makeup application.

Plasma Therapy (PRP) Facial Injections

  • PRP uses your own blood's plasma and biocompatible stem cells to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin.

  • Most people benefit from 3-4 sessions, each spaced 4 weeks apart.

Skin Booster with Dermal Filler

  • The Skin Booster with Dermal Filler treatment is a specialized skin rejuvenation procedure that uses hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers to deeply hydrate the skin, improve texture, and boost overall skin quality. Unlike traditional fillers that add volume, this treatment focuses on enhancing the skin's hydration and elasticity for a smoother, more radiant complexion.

  • Common areas treated with the Skin Booster include the face, neck, décolletage, and hands. These areas often show signs of aging and dehydration, and the Skin Booster helps restore a healthy, hydrated glow.

  • Most patients benefit from 2-3 initial sessions spaced about 3-4 weeks apart for optimal results. Maintenance treatments are typically recommended every 6-12 months to keep the skin hydrated and glowing.

Steroid Injections

  • Steroid injections are used to treat acne and ingrown hairs by reducing inflammation and speeding up healing.

  • Most people see a reduction in swelling and inflammation within 24-48 hours.

Laser Hair Removal

  • Laser hair removal uses advanced laser technology to permanently reduce hair growth by targeting the hair follicles.

  • The ELOS PLUS laser is a cutting-edge device that combines both laser and radiofrequency (RF) technology, making it highly effective and more comfortable than traditional lasers. Unlike standard lasers that rely solely on light to target hair follicles, the ELOS PLUS uses RF energy in combination with light to enhance hair removal results. This dual approach allows for better treatment of a wider range of skin tones and hair colors, including lighter hair and darker skin, with less discomfort.
